In-Depth Review of the Eleaf Tance Max

Eleaf has been making waves in the industry for some time now. If you are a seasoned vaper, the chances are that you’ve come across some Eleaf devices like the iCare, the iJust or the iStick. The company recently released two pod kits – the Tance and the Tance Max – which lives up to a higher standard than its other devices. In this post, we’ll be looking at one of these devices, the Eleaf Tance Max.

The Eleaf Tance Max has to rank as one of the most advanced pod devices on the market today. It comes with a sub ohm coil and a normal 1.6ohm coil. Also, it supports adjustable airflow. You can get the Tance Max pod kit from the Eleaf World online shop for about $30.92 to $36.80. The device is available in different colors like Sea Shell, Sea Blue, Trick, Black, White, and Geometry.

Let’s look at this Eleaf pod kit in detail.

The Eleaf Tance Max Battery
The battery section of the Eleaf Tance Max is made of zinc alloy. It feels like it was built to last. The device has a non-removable 1100mAh battery, which can last you for several hours or a whole day depending on how frequent you are vaping. Unlike other pod kits on the market, the Eleaf Tance Max comes with a firing/power button. There is an LED light in the button which indicates your battery life. It flashes green (battery level is between 100 percent and 60 percent), blue (battery level between 59 percent and 20 percent), and red (battery level is between 19 percent and 0 percent). This ensures that the device never goes dead on you without any warning. The Tance Max kit includes a Type-C cable for charging it. You will find the charging port below the device. It takes just 45 minutes to one hour to recharge the device. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support pass-through, so it is not safe to vape while the device is charging.

Like most vaporizers on the market, you need to press the firing button five times to switch this device on/off. The Tance Max has a maximum wattage output of 15W. It comes with some protective features like short-circuit protection, low voltage protection, and 15-seconds timeout.

The Eleaf Tance Max Pod
The Eleaf Tance Max pod can hold 4ml of e-juice. There is another version of this device which can hold just 2ml of e-juice (for those in Europe). To refill the device, you need to detach it from the battery, turn it upside down and slide the cover of the refill port to the side. The coil is screwed into the middle of the pod. The Tance Max comes with two coils. One 0.6ohm Kanthal mesh coil and a 1.6ohm Stainless Steel coil. The mesh coil produces bigger clouds than the other one. Talking about vapor production, the Eleaf Tance Max supports adjustable airflow. To control the airflow, turn the ring at the base of the coil. You can see how many airflow holes are opened or closed. Even with all the airflow holes open wide, the airflow is pretty restricted.
